YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

Come refine your teaching skills! Dedicated students, aspiring and established yoga teachers of any style are invited to join Jeanie for this inspiring Anusara Teacher’s Training. Pre requisite completion of all three levels of the Anusara Immersion Series.

This training  will guide students and teachers to step further into themselves by refining their potential and personal gifts for teaching Yoga. Each student will have the opportunity to develop and refine their teaching skills as well as deepen their own personal practice.

Through a poetic process and the application of Anusara principles and techniques, your desire to teach will be cultivated by:

  • Engaging the seat of the authentic teacher within
  • Preparing to teach and classroom organization
  • Creating a class plan, theme development and sequencing
  • Teaching practicum to fellow teacher trainees
  • Engaging the highest service in verbal instruction
  • Deepening classroom awareness in observation and adjustments
  • Optimizing effective posture demonstration

  • Leadership in your community and building a harmonious kula

  • Certification process and mentoring

REQUIREMENTS

Practice:

Attend 3-4 classes a week with an Anusara Yoga teacher if they exist in your area. Choose one of these classes to attend every time with regularity. Practice the rest of the time at home and/or with the kula and keep a journal.

Observations:

Observe at least two classes with a certified Anusara Yoga teacher and one open level
with any Anusara Yoga Inspired teacher and take notes.

General Assignments:

There will be reading, journaling, contemplation, peer teaching practice
and other assignments given outside of class.
