Finding A Meditation Practice That Enhances Daily Life

I finally committed to a daily meditation practice after years of dabbling "here and there" in practices, meditating when I felt like it !  Several years ago, my hormones were off,  despite my yoga asana practice and dedication to living a healthy Boulder lifestyle, I had migraine headaches that would occur every month. I would smile outwardly and even teach my yoga classes but inside my head was pounding and I felt miserable for days.  Nothing was eliminating these headaches, not even Advil!  I even thought about getting a cat scan of my brain. It was at this time, I was introduced to Neelakantha Meditation practice. I had been interested in seeing if a daily practice could help ease some anxiety and tension I was feeling due to these headaches as well as modern day stress as a mother and an entrepreneur. I decided to dive in full on and was initiated (formal Instruction into Neelakantha Meditation) in June 2011. Within three months my headaches were completely gone.  Now I know that we all have this capacity to heal when we access the deepest Source place within ourselves.
