Itinerary:

Nov 17: Fly from U.S.A
Nov 19: Arrive in Kathmandu, Nepal and Transfer to Hotel! (4,593ft)

Most international flights arrive in Kathmandu in the afternoon. Our guide will meet you outside the customs area at the airport. He/she will answer any questions you might have and brief you about the immediate arrangements. The trip guide will hold a short briefing at the hotel regarding the trek arrangement and general orientation. Overnight in Hotel in Kathmandu.

Nov 20: Drive to Phaplu (8038ft) 8-10 hour drive
We will take an exciting jeep ride through Nepalese beautiful country side. We will enjoy beautiful scenery along Sunkoshi River and 8-10 hour drive will brings us at Phaplu. Upon arrival in Phaplu, we will meet with our Sherpa team and overnight in Phaplu. Lodge

Nov 21: Trek to Junbesi (9245ft) 3-4 hour hike
Today we will trek to beautiful Sherpa village Junbesi. We follow the beautiful trail along dudh koshi River and reach beautiful Sherpa Village Junbesi, one of the largest Sherpa villages in the area. We will also visit a school founded by Sir Edmund Hillary and a very beautiful monastery. Overnight in Tent.

Nov 22: Visit Thuptenchholing Monastery and Sinsare danda (10500ft) (4-5 hours hike)
After breakfast we will hike to Thubten Chholing.The valley of Junbesi Khola runs north towards Thubten Chholing Monastery, a huge Tibetan Buddhist Monastery founded by the revered Lama Trulsik Rinpoche, who fled to Nepal from Rongbuk Gompa in Tibet with a large group of Anis (Nuns) and monks in the 1960s. Since then, many more refugees have fled to Thubten Chholing en route to join the Dalai Lama at Dharamsala in India. The small monastic cells dotted around the hillside are reserved for private meditation by resident monks and nuns. The trail to Thupten chholing starts in front of the Junbesi Gompa and follows the west bank of the Junbesi Khola upstream past a Chhorten. Cross to the east bank by the power house at Mopung, and then climb the ridge to the Gompa. After a visit to the Monastery, we will hike to Sinsare Danda. Overnight in Tent.

Nov 23: Beni (13000 feet)
Trail continues gradual uphill until we reach Beni. This beautiful open area is situated below the secret Mountain of this region. Local people bring their yaks up here during the monsoon season. Overnight in Tent. (5- 6 Hours Hiking) Overnight in Tent

Nov 24: Hike to Dudh Kunda (Milk Lake) Overnight in Sasura Beni.
After breakfast,We will hike up to Dudh Kundh (15000 feet) Which means milky lake. You will have a magnificient views of 3 secret mountains of this regoin, Numbur (6959m) and Karyalung (6681m) and Khatanga. We will hike to back to Beni and Overnight at tented camp. (4-5 hours hiking)  Overnight in Tent.

Nov 25: Hike to Chhulemu! Karma’s Village. (7000ft)
We will hike down to the Sherpa village of Chhulemu. We will spend the day visiting Sherpa houses and visiting our staff’s families and enjoying authentic Sherpa tea and food. In the evening there will be a gathering party with local Sherpa people drinking local beer (chang) and dancing, which is very fun and an excellent way to experience the local culture. Overnight in tent.

Nov 26: Taksindu (Hike 5-6 hours! (9000)
Today we will take short hiking to Taksindu. Upon arrival in Taksindu, we will arrange prayer ceremony in Taksindu Monastery. This monastery is very old and the monk and nun here practice renouncing the mundane existence. We will observe the practice and prayer and we also do some community works such a picking trash around there. Overnight in Lodge.

Nov 27: Hike to Phaplu.
Today our final beautiful hike will bring us to Phaplu airport and we will celebrate our final day of trip with our staff member. Overnight in Lodge

Nov 28: Flight back to Kathmandu (30 minutes flight)!
We will transfer you to hotel and we can relax or shopping in Kathamndu. Overnight in Hotel.

Nov 29: Sightseeing in Kathmandu!
Sightseeing to Shambunath (known as Monkey Temple) and Bhudhanath (the largest stupa in Nepal). Shaymbunath, means “self-existential”, is also known as the Monkey Temple, a Buddhist temple that’s fabled to come from the Lotus flower. Visit the Baudhanath, the largest and tallest Buddhist stupa. There are also many shops, restaurants, and religious activities to observe! Overnight in Hotel.

Nov 30: Departure from Kathmandu!

We will escort you from your hotel to the airport for completion of your once in lifetime journey to Himalaya!

Trip Duration: 12 Days in the country. (Begins and ends in Kathmandu)

1 Day sightseeing of world Heritage sites in Kathmandu
1 Day an exciting jeep ride through beautiful Nepal countryside.
Accommodations: 5 nights in tent, 3 night in Lodge and 3 nights in Hotel. All meals are included except in Kathmandu
Healthy meals are prepared by private chef during the trek.

Trip Grade: Moderate to slightly strenuous.
