OUR GODDESS GUIDE: TARA
On this retreat, we will explore the mythology and wisdom of the goddess Tara—the Buddhist diety of compassionate action.
Tara is the perfect guide for our times. She is empowered in her femininity. Deeply compassionate. Unwaveringly committed to the greater good.
Through our reflection with Tara, we will uncover our unique purpose for how we’re called to show up in the world today.

2x Daily Asana (Sacred Flow Vinyasa & Restorative Yoga)
Pranayama, mantra, philosophy, and meditation instruction
Early morning and afternoon meditation sessions to mark the auspicious times of the day where meditation is most potent.
Goddess Temple & Tara Puja
Compassion in Action Training
Daily free time to rest, write, walk and hike about the property.
Delicious home made meals by the famous Zen monks known for their fresh garden and creative cooking.

***The cuisine at Crestone Mountain Zen Center is vegetarian and includes dairy and eggs. Meals are mostly organic ingredients and in the summer a good portion of the produce comes from the Creston Garden. Non-gluten, non-dairy, and non-soy diets can be accommodated for an additional $10.00 per person per day fee. Other allergies and sensitivities require special arrangements with the kitchen two weeks prior to arrival.
