As the wheel turns from summer's fire into autumn's wind, we are called inward — and called to release. The air grows dry, quick, unpredictable, and so too do our minds. It is a season that asks us to ground before we can rest, and to clear before we can see clearly.
But what is all this breaking through for? Love. What do we resist in loving — ourselves, each other, this life exactly as it is? Beneath our resistance lie the samskaras, the old grooves worn deep by pattern and story, the residues we carry without always knowing we carry them.
Durga rides in on her lion, fierce protector, cutting through illusion with her many arms. Kali dances on the ashes of what must die, unafraid of the dark, unafraid of grief, unafraid of truth. Together they do not destroy — they clear. They meet us in our own shadow and hold the fire steady while we look, so that what has been hidden can finally be released — and what remains is more and more access to our joy, our freedom, our capacity to love.
Join us in the temple of the Starhouse, in circle, in sadhana, in sisterhood — to move, to breathe, to grieve, to chant, to release, and to rise into love.
What to bring: Yoga mat, water bottle, journal, and anything special you'd like to place on the altar.
Cost: $65 Early Bird (through Sept 30), $75 after Sept 30, $60 each for couples by 9/30 ($70 after 9/30).

From downtown Boulder take Broadway or 9th St. to Mapleton Ave that will turn into Sunshine Canyon Drive.
Do NOT follow directions via Linden Dr.
The StarHouse driveway is 3.5 miles from 4th and Mapleton.
The unpaved driveway is on the right hand side and several addresses to include 3476 are highlighted in a green frame
Please park in the Upper Parking lot and WALK down to StarHouse, unless you have physical challenges, then you can park close.
